Editorial Standards
Clear product-care notes, grounded in the current public record.
Sassy's Pet Products publishes label literacy, scent-profile, and routine guidance to help customers understand the information that is available today. We keep that guidance separate from product formula, medical, certification, and legal claims that need formal approval.
The package label is the authority
When a website description and a product package differ, follow the current package label for intended species, directions, cautions, ingredient information, and lot details. Scent names describe a fragrance impression; they do not prove formula ingredients, concentration, or an outcome.
What we publish
We publish concise, customer-facing guidance about reading labels, understanding scent profiles, pausing use when a pet appears uncomfortable, and building a careful after-play routine. Each article identifies its publication date and, when materially revised, its most recent site update.
What we do not claim
We do not present scent or grooming products as medical, therapeutic, behavior, skin, safety, or certification solutions. We do not imply that a named botanical is in a formula without an approved ingredient record. Articles are not veterinary advice; contact a veterinarian about health, respiratory, skin, or behavior concerns.
How updates work
We update an article when its factual record or review boundary changes. Material formula, package-label, certification, safety, fulfillment, or legal statements require authorized human review before publication. Until then, we state the limitation rather than filling the gap with a marketing claim.
